Motor Third Party Liability Insurance (MTPL)

Protects you if you cause damage to property or health of a third party. The insurance protects the victim, to whom the insurer pays the damage. It also protects the culprit of the accident, who would have to pay the damage from his own resources without MTPL. The owner is obliged to take out insurance for each vehicle that is operated on public roads.
